What Kind of Service Do We Offer?

We rent, lease, buy and sell semi trailers.  Additionally, we have a full service shop and on-location service trucks that can come to you if your trailer needs maintenance.

What Do I Need Before I Rent a Trailer?

Before a trailer can leave our yard we need the following:

Approved Credit Application - To fill out an application click here. Most applications are processed within two business days.

Insurance Certificate - Prime Trailer Leasing must be listed as additional insured and as loss payee.

It is important to speak with us ahead of time to insure we have all proper documentation, this will avoid any delays when your driver comes to pick up the trailer.

What Kind of Equipment Does Prime Trailer Leasing Offer?

Prime Trailer Leasing Sells and Rents New and Used Dry Vans, Flatbeds, and Refrigerated Vans in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah.   We Rent Trailers and Flatbeds for the Short and Long Term.  Rentals are mainly in our 3 locations, however we do New and Used Sales Accross the Nation through our National Dealer Network that we have cultivated over our 20 Years of Business in the Semi Trailer Industry.

Do I Need Insurance for Trailer Rentals?

Yes.  Prime Trailer Leasing requires insurance for all trailer rentals.  For all rentals a minimum of $1,000,000 of general liability is required and Prime needs to be listed as the additional insured.  Additionally, if you are renting for cartage or over the road, you need limits and deductibles listed on the insurance certificate and Prime needs to be listed as the loss payee. Your insurance provider will  need to fax us over a certificate of insurance before we will allow anyone to rent our equipment.  See this sample of an insurance certificate that will need to be provided by your insurance.

What Kind of Equipment Does Prime Trailer Not Carry?

We commonly get asked if we have the following: horse trailers, utility trailers, car trailers, livestock trailers, belly dumps, hopper trailers, and gas tankers.  We do not carry any of this equipment. If you are looking for this equipment, however, you may contact us and we may be able to help connect you with the right business to help you meet your needs.  If we can't get you the equipment you need, we want to help send you to the right people.  It's cause we care and we're cool llike that.

How Do I Rent a Semi Trailer with Prime Trailer Leasing?

After talking with one of our salesmen about the equipment you need, you will need to provide us with a credit application and a certificate of liability insurance.  After receiving the credit app and insurance copy, we will be able to get you your trailer!

Do You Rent to Owner/Operators?    

We typically rent to commercial businesses only.  However, we pride ourselves in being helpful to anyone who calls us, so we consider every lead on a case by case scenario.  Typically, Owner/Operators will qualify for renting a trailer under our credit conditions and terms.  You never know until you call us, so just call or contact us today!

What’s the Minimum Rental Period?

1 day is the minimum rental period.  We lease up to 7 years or more if needed.

Does Prime Trailer Do One-Way Rentals?

We do not do one-way rentals unless there is a one-way deal we find coming back from the location.

If I Have to Move, Does Prime Trailer Leasing Provide Moving Trailers?

We do not have moving trailers for rental.  If you have more than a normal Uhaul trailer can handle, give us a call and we may be able to help.
